Starting next year in the counties that are part of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD), operators of gas-fired boilers and steam generators must conform to new NOx regulations. The first deadline in the BAAQMD is January 1, 2012.

What does that mean for you?

Boilers in the BAAQMD must meet lower NOx emissions, starting with a third of them in 2012 and another third each following year. We've published a NOx compliance schedule to help you understand how each major air district in California is enforcing its new NOx regulations1.

Are your boilers subject to these regulations? If so, The Power Burner can help. Leva Energy’s "NOx Compliance + ROI" program includes:
• Assessment of current equipment for conformity with the NOx regulations
• Recommendations on specific actions required
• Cost and ROI analysis
• Delivery and installation of fully compliant CHP system

1To ensure up-to-date information it's best to always check with the AQMD's latest updates on rules and regulations.
